Trying to update apt-get or installing some application, but it is stuck at 0%, waiting for header?

Here are the steps to fix this:

Type the following commands in the terminal

•  sudo apt-get clean
•  cd /var/lib/apt
•  sudo mv lists lists.old
•  sudo mkdir -p lists/partial
•  sudo apt-get clean
•  sudo apt-get update
